Do you want to change the world? It can be hard to know how to approach the large problems facing humanity. We will be leading you through the first stage of the Creative Problem Solving process (Clarify) so that you walk away with a problem to work on that is important, imaginative, and something you have the ability to solve (yes, even as a first year!). BRAINSTORMING SOLUTIONS - SEP 24, 25

So, you’ve figured out what problem you want to tackle. What does a good solution even look like? We will be leading you through the second stage of the Creative Problem Solving process (Ideate) so that you walk away with multiple great solutions to the problem you want to solve that will change the world. DEVELOPING THE IDEA INTO A CONCEPT - OCT 01, 02

Now, you’ve come up with many possible ideas for solving the problem you most want to solve in the world. We will be leading you through the third stage of the Creative Problem Solving process (Develop) so that you walk away with a compelling concept for the Entrepreneurship Cup Concept competition. Only 25 spots available. RSVP to ensure a spot. Preference given to those who attended Workshop 1 and 2. There are going to be two sessions of Workshop 3, one for Monday night and one for Tuesday night. VALUE PROPOSITIONS AND ALTERNATIVES - OCT 04

Part of your submission for the Entrepreneurship Cup Concept competition will involve some discussion of why your solution to the problem is better than the current alternatives, and “valu[ing] this innovation from the perspective of a customer, beneficiary, or society.” A good approach to this is understanding the value proposition(s) you and the alternative solutions offer. MARKET ANALYSIS AND PERSONAS - OCT 11

Part of your submission for the Entrepreneurship Cup Concept competition will involve “quantify[ing] the people or entities that experience this need, want, problem, or opportunity.” We will discuss strategies for this here. RSVP HERE
